Yay! I love Yankee Stadium. It's kind of a shame that they'll be tearing it down.

There are lots of fans in the streets.

And lots of vendors on the sidewalks.

Here is a super-flattering picture of some Yankee fans you might know.

Alas, the tarp is on the field because it's been pouring all day.

But it stops raining as soon as we get inside the stadium! And off comes the tarp! Weeeee!

The fans are ready to see some baseball!

Mike Mussina - or 'Moose' as we affectionately refer to him - throws the first pitch. FYI, that white thing in front of him is not the ball. The ball is still in his hand. That white thing in front of him is garbage. I mean, it's the Bronx.

After a quick top of the first inning, Johnny Damon leads off and hustles down the first baseline in the bottom.

Then Jeter is at the plate.

He gets a hit and turns in his batting glove at first base.

A-Rod at the plate. I don't remember what he did here, but it probably wasn't much.

Jorge is getting ready for a big cut at the ball.

But he's out at first.

Shhh! There are no bikes allowed.

We find a lovely bridge at the head of the river.

I am such an artist!

There are lots of trout in the water.

And the biggest gull I've ever seen in my life is trying to eat them. Naughty, gull!

The water is freeeeeezing!

We only see one deer, and it takes off pretty fast.

Then we get busted! Damn! Well, it was fun while it lasted.

We're camping! Ted and I set up our tent without a single argument. Okay, so I rolled my eyes a couple of times, but that's it!

Here is "Tom's All-American Manstown". He's a real patriot.

If you need to scrub your grubbies, use the wash station!

Like using the chainsaw to cut down that nice, dead tree.

Now we're cookin' with gas - er, I mean wood.

Hey, sports fans! How's that steak?

Tom classes up the joint with a stogey.

Goo and Gav party on - while I go to bed early with a splitting headache.

In the morning, Teddy makes breakfast. He's a good camp cookie!

And there was bacon, of course. Hash browns, even.

Now that we're well nourished, let's shoot guns!

That's MY gun!

Teddy's gun has a bayonet, which is very useful these days.

Yes, I am going to wear this hat all weekend. There will be no doing of hair or make-up.

Tom no longer has arm hair.

The boys shotgun some beer (Tom on the left, Goo in the middle, Ted on the right). I maintain that this picture looks a little gay.

The next morning, we are somehow energetic enough to take a hike.

There is lots of moss, and it's soft and bouncy. Like my thighs.

The Graduate

My brother, Leif, is the one with the crazy eyes. Yeah, he usually looks like that.

Geez, the kid couldn't stop grinning!

Bike Ride

Teddy looks sleepy, but he's ready to roll.

And geese, too! With babies!

This is home sweet home.

And here is our "ivy garden" - otherwise known as the yard.

We don't have grass.

But we live in the cutest carriage house in the world.
